FossilCore.app
The public FossilCore website is designed as a static informational site. It does not intentionally use advertising trackers or build visitor profiles. Cloudflare may process technical request and security information as part of delivering and protecting the website under Cloudflare's own terms and privacy practices.
Software downloads
Free-edition downloads are planned to be delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Standard technical information required to deliver a file may be processed by the hosting provider.
Paid purchases
PRO and Institutional purchases are planned to be processed by Lemon Squeezy. Payment details, tax information, receipts and purchase-related personal information are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy and terms. FossilCore does not need to receive or store a customer's complete payment-card details.
License activation
Paid-edition activation may send the supplied license key and an installation/computer instance name to the licensing provider so the license can be activated, validated or deactivated. FossilCore stores local license state using protected Windows storage.
Your collection data
FossilCore collection records are managed by the desktop application in the storage locations you select. The public FossilCore website does not receive your specimen records simply because you use the application.
Changes
This notice should be reviewed and updated if FossilCore.app later adds analytics, contact forms, user accounts or other services that collect additional information.
